Vendor-neutral pre-RFQ evidence gate

Release machined-part RFQs to the right suppliers—with evidence.

DatumRelay checks package completeness, maps stated requirements to versioned supplier capability passports, shows which changes unlock more suppliers, and exports a portable evidence record before an RFQ leaves engineering.

Start readiness preflight Your files are not uploaded

Coverage: preliminary 3-axis CNC supplier fit from parsed envelope/mesh evidence and declared requirements. Not CAM simulation, collision checking, GD&T validation, pricing, lead-time confirmation, or supplier acceptance.

Step 1 · Evidence

Inspect the actual release package

CAD geometry is derived locally. Drawings and inspection plans are attached and hashed; their technical contents are not silently claimed as interpreted.

CAD geometry

STEP/STP and binary or ASCII STL are supported. A bundled OpenCascade WebAssembly parser and local STL parser run without sending the model to DatumRelay.

Release artifacts

Actual files, actual hashes. File presence cannot be satisfied by a checkbox.

Controlled drawingNo drawing attached.
Inspection planNo inspection artifact attached.
A checksum identifies which file was evaluated. It does not prove that a drawing, inspection plan, or CAD model is technically correct.

Step 3 · Capability evidence

Compare versioned supplier capability passports

Reference templates can explore fit but cannot become the recommended RFQ route. Missing provenance, review, or currency remains a visible blocker.

Step 4 · Decision

Fit, evidence, and supplier unlocks

DatumRelay never reports “universally manufacturable.” It reports preliminary RFQ readiness within a named capability and an explicit evidence boundary.

Unverified or expired passports are never recommended. This comparison is neither a cost quote nor supplier acceptance.

Exact declared requirement or evidence changes that remove blockers; no blended safety score.

Evidence composition

    Rule evidence

Every result contains a stable rule ID, source class, actual value, configured limit, remediation, and challenge path.

    Challenge and exception register

A locally recorded disagreement is not buried in email. An open item holds release and travels inside the evidence record. Responder identity is not authenticated in this beta.

    Step 5 · Evidence record

    Export a portable supplier-readiness record

The ZIP contains source artifacts, capability passports, fit results, unlock actions, rule evidence, challenges, scope exclusions, and a deterministic content checksum.

    Evidence record identity
